Kensington is a largely populated district in the west of London, Kensington has a large high street with all sorts of commercial outlets and is the focus of the town it also has a well known museum district in South Kensington.
Chelsea was once a very fashionable area of London the punk movement was strong here in the 1970's but was replaced by other alternative sub-cultures during the 80s-90s. Chelsea was home to many famous people at one point including Mick Jagger, the whole Beatles band and Kylie Minogue. A very interesting area.
